ooh - thats nice! The handle is gorgeous!! Crap - thats my next one!!
Now I'm really ticked at you!

I strongly encourage you to spend your hard earned money on a full tang out-of-doors knife that you will pass down to your kin after you have used it for a life time of adventure hunting, fishing, treking and camping. The Gent I speak of has been hand forging knives one at a time for over 30 years, and can make you a knife and sheath like this one to your own specifications in a week for 160.USD.. PM me if interested or email at veritas.group@att.net

I hope Eddie doesn't mind me posting this email I received from him after I let him know I'd received a very nice knife. It goes with what SunnyD said. And it shows what kind of person you are dealing with. I certainly appreciate it and consider the money well spent!

This is the kind of fellow who makes these solid knives:

Amos,
I hope it will serve you well for many, many years to come. If you
ever need it touched up, just send it on, no charge to you. It's
guaranteed for fit, finish and workmanship for as long as i'm
alive...and I plan on being around for at least 50 more!

Pleasure was all mine, man.
Thanks,
Eddie

I know that many of the fine makers on here and that are recommended also have that kind of customer service and that is what makes these guys such fine as well as talented folk. I just want to share my own very positive experience with one of those fellows.

Oh yeah, and mine has spent the last few days either on my hip or in my pocket. Now, do I make the next one bone, or micarta? Regular IX or larger? Do I cuss SunnyD or thank him, or both? ;)
