Looking for a flipper or two

With Australia's new import laws allowing flippers, I'd like to get a couple of more wallet friendly knives. I already have a ZT0200 and 561 and will be getting a 562 very shortly, but am looking for a couple of cheaper options for EDC.

I just got to handle a Kershaw Skyline and found it too small and was disappointed with the flipper action.

So I need something bigger than the Skyline, but somewhere around that budget or a little higher.

Any recommendations please? Only caveat is it can't be assisted as they are still a restricted import.

The ZT0801 can be found for VERY nice prices on the forums. I've got one that I modified somewhat. But it's an excellent flipper.

Buck Marksman is a fun flipper.

SK blade will be selling a Marksman with a S35VN blade in a few months, not sure what the price will be though.

The Kershaw strobe has a great action but might be a little small for your tastes worth a look though

I second the Marksman. Very fun knife. The upcoming Kershaw Induction looks to have great flipping action and high fidget factor as well, and I've heard good things about the Real Steel flippers. The CRKT Ripple and Boker Urban Trapper are another couple flippers that are budget friendly and have very good action.

Kizer has a lot of choices, but don't forget to take a look at some of the smaller ZT's, like the 0808. You can get them custom anodized at no additional cost from USAMadeBlade. They're a great place to do business with!

Edit: Ooops, sorry, I missed the word "cheaper" in your original post!

I'm thinking in the $50-$100 range.

Tough price range for a non-assisted flipper. Kizer is a good bet. Of course, the Zt0452cf is probably the best flipper I've owned and a worthy budget destoyer.

Columbia River Knife and Tool K220KKP Onion Foresight might be what youre looking for.

I am addicted to flippers and the best few I have had were the CRKT Ripple (qc is hit and miss, but a good one is amazing for the price), damn near anything with the Kizer name on it (the lefty friendly Sovereign is my current addiction), all of the ZT manuals aside from the 560 were great, Real Steel has had nothing but good things said but they aren't too lefty friendly, and the Böker Griploc is arguably the most fun flipper ever. The Kershaw KVT models get honorable mentions but my Strobe might be the best flipper I have ever had, only diminished by the odd nearly round handle and askew pocket clip (functional but aesthetically displeasing).

Kizer, Kizer, and Kizer jump to mind as fitting your requirements best.
