Looking for a folding knife

Let me add that a lighter knife was in order, too. A Dragonfly or a Delica (at most) so as not to pull my pants down.

Have you tried just throwing the entire knife into your pocket? Sweatpants & clips are a match made in hell imo.

Or is that too inconvenient for you?

It's worth a try. My right pockets are filled since I can't use my left, but maybe it will work.

Clips can be modified. It requires removing, bending, reinstalling.
The opening can be enlarged, and the spring tension can be adjusted.
There's no reason you can't carry your GB doing the above unless it's too heavy.

I love my Gayle Bradley, another great idea.

Maybe get a small, inexpensive 'biner (Nite Ize), clip that on a belt loop, and loop an appropriate length of paracord or whatever rope/twine tickles your fancy. Attach that to a knife you already have that you can open/close easily and comfortably one-handed. The vast majority of pants I own require the second hand to essentially hold the pocket to sufficiently secure the clip over the seam.

Apologies if my suggestion is short of succint; I've had one of those rare and thirsty evenings. :D

Just a thought, good luck with the recovery!

LOL, no appolagies needed. I understand my friend.

While I'm not a fan of lanyards, this could be a great option for the next 3 months for me.

The Southern Grind Bad Monkey comes with a smaller clip that is easy to manage and sticks out a good bit. I always tighten my clip when I put a new one in my pocket and usually tighten it for my customers. It would be a good option and then you can tighten the clip up when your arm is better.

What a great looking knife. I'm wondering how this knife has stayed off my radar? And I got a good excuse to buy a knife.

I tore up my arm in a motorcycle accident earl last year so I can understand. I tend to carry my knives in my pocket sans clip. I found that if it were easy to clip on my beltless shorts the retention was not that great. But, you may try bending the clip just a little bit. Do this in small increments. Then see how you like it. Or, look for a cheap chinese made knife with a weak clip and see if you can replace your clip.

Another great idea.

Nailed it. I can't tie the string on my sweat pants, and having my wallet, I phone in my pockets on my right side tends to weigh things down a bit.
