Again not illegal to own - just illegal to import yourself.

I’m Canadian and I’ve invested half my paycheck into a well-known distributor out of Vancouver for years now!
They are not prohibited from being owned in Canada, just importing them.
Buy from a Canadian dealer and you have nothing to worry about.
Wait, guys. If I bought the knife from Cabela's Canada in 2021, it is not prohibited to own, only prohibited to import/move through the border?Plenty of local shops in Canada that are selling flippers, button locks, etc.

Correct. You cannot import certain knives into Canada now.
Anything you can buy through a Canadian dealer is perfectly legal to own.
Come to Texas. Texas law allows you to openly wear about any knife in public now.. . . . maybe not a Machete.
