Im looking for a classy looking folder that meets the following critria:
-3-4" locking blade
-belt clip would be nice since my knife often doubles as a money clip
- no serrated edges
-drop point would be prefered
-good quality steel
- a blade that can be used for self defence but without a strong tactical look
-something that wouldnt raise alot of attention at a function such as a wedding, fancy dinner ect. ( former gf didnt like the Delica being used to cut a steak at dinner:jerkit:)
-Im also not a big fan of peanuts or other knives of that style.
What would you recommend? Right now im leaning towards a Sebenza but thats getting a little pricey even though I do want one

or the Kiwi...

or Kershaw Splinter, I was able to pick one up at Big5 for under $40 and the MSRP on them was about a 100, No blade play, solid knife, flowing lines, relatively sharp (I mean it wouldn't split hair but more then suitable for an EDC) the only problem is that it "can" be used for self defence, but its just to "civil" to for anything like that.

Mcusta was the first knife that came to my mind, also look at the Lone wolf Harsey T1. I
do not recommend an assisted opener. Many people flinch when they see them.

Other choices could be one of the Al Mar Ultralights, Spyderco's Caly 3 in CF & ZDP189, BM's 707 (a very nice, thin knife with a 3" blade and AXIS lock), or a Buck Prince or Knight if you want traditional styling.

Spyderco
1. Kopa. It has full flat grind 2.5" blade, available with 9 different scales:
black Micarta, Cocobolo (hard to find), Evrina (man made ivory),Tiger Coral, Apple Coral, Gold MOP, Turquoise, Black quince, Pearl & Abalone
2. C105 75 mm Persian (3" blade, SS bolsters & black micarta handle)
3. Caly3 (full flat grind 3" VG10 blade/black G10 scales or ZDP laminated blade/CF scales).
good luck in your quest

see if you can track down a benchmade 770. they're absolutely gorgeous, flat in a trouser pocket, and won't freak anyone out. or, if a little bulge isn't a problem, a BM 690. I really like the look of the lone wolf knives, too, esp. with wood scales.

I always wanted a kershaw leek, prerferably in some bright color, or rainbow for that purpose.
