looking for a good 8-9" blade fightin bowie

I have a SRKW M9 LE you might like if you're into big knives. See description below.

‘2009 SRKW M9 LE - Satin Finish, #42 - Black G10 scales with three rivet attachment, OAL ~15-inches, SR101 steel (enhanced 52100), blade length 9.125-inches, blade thickness 0.25-inch. The M9 LE series of knives is the last production of Differential Heat-Treated (DHT) SRKW knives, Hamon-Line easily visible. All following production SRKW knives are ‘through Heat-Treated’ and still 100% dye-penetration Pass/Fail inspected for cracks and inclusions before shipping.

BTW, the knife is: unused, unsharpened, and uncarried. Exactly like it came from SRKW in '2009. Including the 'custom' cardboard sheath.

I could not find the name, but it has a 9" blade, is 1/4" stock and is well under $200.

Thats the FE9...its in my future at some point, but I have to ask, why are you EDC'ing this at work? If you are, you are either a really bad guy or you need a new job...

I often conceal carry a TOPS Team Jackal 5, inverted in the stock kaidex sheath it is discrete and can be drawn in a second...
