The reviews on REI outlet say that it doesn't fit the nalgenes.

I've heard that too but mine fits fine.........I didn't get mine at REI though.....maybe they're selling something different or GSI had a change their sizing at some point?

I use a standard Guyot and the Snow Peak Trek 700.

So I'm thinking the standard Guyot and the Snow Peak 700 (minus the lid) like quietmike originally suggested would be what I'm after, right? Everybody with me? Thanks for all your input!:thumbup: I THINK I have what I'm after. Additional input welcome. -DT

My local Sportsman's Warehouse sold both the GSI mug and Guyote bottle for a while. On one visit non of them would nest together. On a visit a month or so later they all nested together fine and my wife and I each have such a set. I would say it is a crap shoot.
