Looking for a good tactical folder 4" or larger

I would have to agree with the choices of the Benchmade 630 Skirmish and the Hossom Retribution 1. I have and use both of these knives and neither has ever let me down even though they see a lot of use. The Skirmish can be carried easily in the front pocket of your jeans but the Hossom (this thing is a tank) is too big to carry in a pocket but it does come with a sheath. You can’t go wrong with either of these knives.
Good Luck.

I really like my Emerson CQC-15, but the blade isn't long enough. I also like the Spyderco Police with the G-10 handles. I'm a tip up guy so the military is out for me.

Does anyone have any experience with DM knives' folders???

Seems two of it's folders would meet the bill.

Reverence folder:

My favorites would have to be:

Mission MPF1-A2
Boker Turbine

I have both and, if price is not a hindrance, I'd go with the Mission. The frame lock is very reliable.

I have also heard good things about Benchmade's Rukus and Skirmish. The DO Stratofighter is tough as nails and very reliable. Someone posted the SOG Fatcat, which I looked at recently and was quite impressed (priced like the Mission).

That someone would be me;)

take a look at the columbia river M16-14M. there are a lot of models of the M16......not all of them good. this one is good.....tanto blade ..... AUS8 steel ....... 2 locks....... flip open. no blade play at all. you may need to loosen the tension screw 1/4 turn to get the flipper to work nice and smooth. even with the screw loosened a little, there is no blade play. about $50.

Hello all. Sorry for asking a question that's probably been asked before, but I would appreciate your help nonetheless.

I'm looking for a good tactical folder that is 4" or larger.

I don't like the SOG Pentagon Elite 2 or it's newer incarnation. And I don't want an auto, which rules out the Microtech Socom Elite.

Any other suggestions?

Price is not an issue.

Thanks!
- Zero Tolerance 0300/0301/0302.

- Benchmade Rukus

- Spyderco Military CPM-D2

The Zero Tolerance 0200 is pretty large, pretty tough, has a great handle and is a good value.

Got to go with the ZT0200 also. Everything about it is heavy duty. Thick, .157", blade of 154CM steel, hardened steel liners that are close to .080" thick, and contoured G-10 grips for a great in the hand feel.

Btw, just measured the blade on my ZT0200. Measuring where the edge begins will give you right at 4.0". Due to the slanted bolster, measuring from the top of the blade will give you 3.75".
