So I don't know if anyone can point me in the direction I'm going here, or if someone is up for a challenge to build what I'm looking for, but what I'm looking for is the following:
I am in love with manual Ti Framelocks, ( not so much flippers.) and I have had and do have many different ones, but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for yet. Basically the knife would be a mixture of a Sebenza and a Les George VECP I think. I love the look of the sebenza, it is just a little dainty for my taste. The thickness and feel of the VECP is much more my style, but probably even a bit larger, not so much in thickness but in length, I wouldn't mind if it was a bit thicker, but not a huge deal for me. I also like a flat grind blade that has a thick spine, not like the tapered spine of the VECP. And preferably a Satin Finish. I also like the kind of finish that ZT uses on their Ti handles. I guess it is just polished or something of that sort. I also like a large thumb stud, especially the large barrel type. And I really like blue hardware. It goes well with the Ti for me. For example the ZT 0392. Or how the Sebenza utilizes blue hardware on some. Now two of my other favorite things are problematic because they are proprietary I believe. I like the Hinderer's lock bar stabilizer, and I really love the Emerson wave, and wish I could have it on all my knives.
Now if anyone has any ideas of a knife that may be similar to this description please let me know, though I know it will not encompass all of it. Or if any of you knife makers are up for a challenge and would like to help me make my dream knife, I would love to talk to you. Post in this thread, or PM/email me. Thanks for your time.
