To me hard use is something that i wouldn't feel comfortable using a slipjoint on but doesn't warrant a FB.
In that regard i would go with the PM2 (mine is coming in the mail tomorrow).
My sincere apologies if i sound judgmental here, but if you insist on prying, chopping, or in other ways abusing a folder, i imagine the ZT should handle whatever you can dish out. To me folding knives, no matter how they are designed are for cutting. Chopping, scraping, prying, batoning etc is for fixed blades, pry bars, axes and other on folding implements. If you do want a robust knife that cuts well, check out the Spyderco Gayle Bradley.
Both the ZT and the PM2 are great blades. in the end its up to you to make the call.
Hard use for camping/hiking? If you're eager to pocket-carry, I'd carry an ESEE-3 or ESEE-4 (I prefer the -4, because it's a much better chopper). You won't find better for under a $100, it's extremely quick to deploy, and it truly fits the bill for "hard use".
ZT 0200. why? becuase you won't have to worry about it. you can do basically anything to it, and it will still be just fine. you won't have to use the FB as much. just do it.
