I'm completely new to this forum, so I'm not exactly sure if this is where something like this would go. If it's not, I'd be glad to delete it and put it wherever it's supposed to go.

I've got about $120 in Amazon Gift Cards, and I was wondering if any of the people here have suggestions as to which knife I should buy? I currently own a Spyderco Paramilitary 2, and a Zero Tolerance 0350TS. (I'm a fan of the slightly bigger knives, like over 3 inches).

Which knife would you guys get?

Your knives are two of my personal favorites. If you are sticking with folders, try getting some M390 or S110V. What you plan on cutting makes all the difference.

I would caution against buying either knife, especially the Spyderco PM2 on Amazon. There are lots of counterfeits out there and Amazon is notorious now for selling them inadvertently. The PM2 is one of, if not the most counterfeited knife at the moment. I would use a gift card to buy other staples and things you would normally buy, on Amazon. Then use the money you saved by not buying those at other places, To buy the knife at a reputable vendor.

Buck Marksman is a solid option. It's not like your Grandpa's Buck, it's a different modern design that is an amazing cutter.

If you don't have a Benchmade with the axis lock, you should try one also. The griptilian is a great dip into Bechmade.

Both knives I'd suggest already came through, a Manix 2, and a full sized grip since you like bigger knives.

I'll go against your preference and say a mini grip! I like medium/3" knives too, but damned if I don't carry my mini more often. It's just a great knife that can keep up with the big boys in just about every way. Plus they're relatively cheap, incredible warranty, and lots of different variations to choose from.

Thanks for the input, everyone!

19-3ben, I actually already have both the Spyderco Paramilitary 2, and the ZT 0350TS, and they aren't counterfeit, I've checked :)

I've actually been debating on whether to get the Manix or the Grip, as they both look great. The two Manix knives that I've been looking at are the one in S110V that's the lightweight version Do not post links to a non-supporting dealer or business, Read the forum rules.
and the XL version
Anyone have an opinion on these two?
I'll also check out the other knives that were mentioned :)

Those are the exact two I was thinking of in your price range. You just have to decide which size you want.

What a dope. I totally misread the OP. Sorry about that... That's what i get for reading BFC while half asleep...

I'm not sure if you require stainless, but for $25 more I can highly recommend the Gayle Bradley 2.

I have the S110v (well actually my wife has absconded with it) Manix 2. It's a fantastic knife.
The one caution I'd give is that you might wanted to consider a "less super" version of it if you are not really a pro a sharpening and if you don't have very very good sharpening equipment. I found S110v to be a cast iron bitch to sharpen. using both my Ken Onion Worksharp, and my Spydero Sharpmaker (with the regular rods, not the diamond ones).

I actually would love to get a much more basic CTS-BD1 Manix 2, just for easier sharpening.

Either way, the Manix 2 fits my hand like none other. It's a really really solid knife.

I'd also vote for the S110V LW Manix. Such a great knife for the money.

Consider a Manix XL. My favorite Manix by far.
For a Benchmade option I want to suggest a 950 Rift, though it's a bit over the price you mention.
