So I was hoping to find a nice bowie style knife, preferably with a bone or antler handle that comes with a good edge but I don't wanna spend a ton. Don't know much about knives (prefer tomahawks) but I've been hankering for a nice knife. Any suggestions?

I highly recommend Bark River Knife and Tool. It is headed by Mike Stewart, who used to run Blackjack and also made knives for Marble's. He is an acknowledged master of the convex grind and has developed A2 steel heat treat to it's fullest. Bark River has several models in a plethora of handle materials and pin options. DLT Trading Company has a great selection. Another source is Red River Knives

Those are great knives in the pictures.

Also check out Puma. They have many great bowie style knives with stag handles at around $100 and up.

They're handmade in Solingen, Germany. The steel and blade geometry is top notch. And rivals that of custom makers.
