Looking for a knife

I think you will find everyone's preference differs on the optimal size carried. I just got a Para2 and while I am enjoying the knife, I think this will be the largest knife I will buy that is a non-fixed blade. I personally find that a knife with a 3" blade often had the right size handle for me. I never really feel the need for a larger blade so this has kept my knives in that general vicinity of sizing. I have owned 3 Delica's so far and have loved them, I would highly recommend them as a greater first knife. Comfortable size to carry and use, no one takes notice to my knife as it isn't daunting looking, light and easy to clean, a few different configurations to select from. Good luck with your selecting your first knife, I have always found have the fun is shopping and researching.

I looked at the spyderco Paramilitary 2 and the Ritter Mini Griptilion can anyone compare these two knives and what they like and dont like about them?

I agree. Smaller knives just seem to work better for EDC, a least for me. If you have $110 to spend, why not look at getting two knives instead of one? For around $60 there are many great knives. I personally feel that there arnt many knifes that cost $100 that give much more quality or usability than you can find in a knife that cost about $60. If you went that route you could get two knives. A recomendation, The buck vantage avid is a great EDC. Not too expensive, great handle and blade shape.
