Looking for a larger fixed!

I have stripped a marine raider, a bk9 and two kabars. I understand that the manufacture puts the coating on the blade to prevent corrosion and rust. It's just my opinion that they put coatings on most blades these days to apeal to certain customers, and that's just business, I get it, options. To the OP save your money to buy a better blade (my opinion ) with more wear resistance and edge holding.

After further review--I think I will. That Rodent 6 is calling my name!!
 
Swamp rat makes thee best bang for your buck if you ask me. SR101 will out preform 1095 for days in my experiqnce. I have a rodent 9, a Ratmandu, and a scycko 911, all in SR101 steel, the edge will out last anything 1095 by either ka bar or esse puts out, plus it's easy to maintain a sharp edge, just take it through the sharpmaker or stones. You won't regret buying anything from any of the Busse companys, and your first won't be your last!!!
