Hi all, first post. I'm looking for a leather sheath in the old Randall or Jimmy Lile survival knife style for my Rat-7 (belt loop with lash points, diagonal strap with snap, pancake construction with lash tab at the point.. not interested in a sharpener pocket or firesteel loop on the face). I have been digging around and it seems like having something custom made is the only way to get something like this for this knife. I'm not really interested in Kydex or cordura, but it seems like the guys who work in those materials are the only ones with the RAT-7 on the list of knives they build for.
Any recommendations on leather workers who might work in this style or do work for RAT-7s or other options I might not have considered would be greatly appreciated. My budget is in the 50-100 USD range and I'd prefer to not have to ship the blade, if that is possible.
