So I have been out of the game for a bit. I had the luck to actually be satisfied with the knives I had. I myself had my perfect 2 blade carry. That did not however include a fixed blade. I have always had interests in fixed blades but never invested in one like I have with my folders. I want to change that.

I am looking for a custom maker. I am hoping you all will be able to help me out. Here is what I'm looking for:

$175 is my limit
Reasonable turn around and availability
I am looking preferably for a scandi/puukko designs. I love the scandi grind. Yes this knife will primarily be my hiking knife. I will look at convex and ffg as well in that order.

I prefer a blade around 4 inches, an inch or less tall. Natural handle materials most likely unless it's a great micarta blend. Carbon steel most likely.

I don't have many requirements as you can see. I am just looking good for options since there is so much knowledge here.

Thank you all very much.

Hello- I hand forge all my blades and some might suit your needs. I can also custom make as well with your initials stamped on blade during forging process.

take a look at some of my work

Check out my website at www.cpeknives.com for examples of scandi knives I have produced. If you like what you see send me an email at Cpeknives@gmail.com and we can discuss making a knife. Doing a 4" convex scandi high carbon with natural handles is certainly possible at your price point. I can also work with CPM stainless materials and Elmax if you have any interest in that.
