Looking for a new chopper.

The Browning, Crowell/Barker competition cutting bowie is a great chopper right in that price range. I have one and can say it really is a sweet knife.

Ive wanted to pick one up for awhile but i do wish it was a bit longer blade wise

This is true. I haven't ordered a special grade item from him but I did place an order for some Moras and he ships fast and hand-inspects everything. He knows his stuff when it comes to machetes and choppers and knows how to thin the edge and clean up a blade.

Used ESEE Junglas would be perfect!!

Rtak II or Junglas. If you can find one or spring extra dough, the Sykco 911 or 1311 are great.

Unfortunately, all of the above are 3/16" thick.

No thanks, i do my own work, i enjoy it & absolutely LOVE my results. But for those who don't do their own work, yes he does great work.
