Looking for a new EDC knife

The domino maybe another one to look at.
Newer version of the sage IMO and a smooth flipper.

My vote would be for the ZT 0550. I can't say enough good things about it. My primary EDC and my favorite. Built like a tank from excellent materials.

Man, if you guys now had all the same opinion things would be simple ;-)
And FLARP thanks for you great pictures again, much appreciated.

One knife i took a look at when i started to search was the new Benchmade North Fork, it's size and shape and steel are really nice (at least i think that).
One thing i hate about this knife are the ugly g10 scales or the cheap dymonwood scales, but this can ben changed into CF off coarse ...

Usage and preferences makes the listed models very different

* Spyderco sage 2 $ 160
* ZT 0560 $ 210
* ZT 0801 $ 210
* ZT 0550 with custom CF scales $ 230

The 0560 is fantastic. The steel on it is well-suited for heavy usage, and the knife is made in a sense of being able to withstand heavy usage. The 0801 is great, but with a slightly smaller form-factor. The 0550 has ergonomics closer to the 0560 than to the 0801, and many users find they prefer one over the other. I personally like the 0560 and 0550 style as I think they are really comfortable for extended usage and I like G10 for grip.

The Sage 2 is one of the best knives Spyderco ever made. It's quality is out of this world, and many like the blade shape over the awesome Sebenza. But it is smaller than the above. It is also super light, and carries really well. The heavier ZTs often pose a problem to people, and the 0550 can be hard on pockets where as the wire clip Sage 2 does not. The ELMAX and S35VN steels on the ZTs are better than the S30V on the Sage, but the S30V on the Sage is still excellent. While smaller, the knife can withstand harder usage, but it's not quite as good of a gripper as the 0550 and 0561 which have larger handles and traction.

Other knives that pop into my head are the SR and Ti Spine LionSteels, the ProTech TR-3 Integrity (personal favorite), the Benchmade Gold Class Griptilian (super knife), the Benchmade Ritter Griptilian with titanium Wilkins scales, the Chris Reeve Sebenza and Umnumzaan, various Brous models, the Guardian Tactical Helix, the Spyderco Titanium Military, and the ZT0801CF.

And if you can find one, a Kershaw Tilt as I think despite it being a huge collector item that is has one of the most awesome blades ever made and it is a stupidly aggressive cutter in a phenomenal steel with ergonomics and a fit and finish that make the knife feel more like a high-end custom folder than something from a large maker.

I did not mention that my budget is max $ 250 shipped to the Netherlands ;-)
But you did mention some very nice knives, but just a bit over my budget ...
