looking for a new fixed blade

Thank you all for the suggestions! Turns out my wife ordered me a gso 4.1 from survive knives. Not sure if it was sentiment or she just got tired of me talking about all of my options and made a decision for me. Either way, I'm stoked.

Might want to check out survive knives too. I gotta say though that for overall function, with what you want to do with the knife, the mora will likely outperform all of the knives mentioned. If you have a hatchet or saw there's really no need for the stockier fixed blades IMO. Unless you just want a new knife.

Congrats on the new knife and graduating. If you decide on another knife in the future, definitely check out the Fiddleback Production knives. Well with in your budget and very nicely done!
