I'm looking for a new folder and I have some options in mind. I'm looking at the benchmade 940-2, the spyderco paramilitary 2, the cold steel 4'' Ti-Lite with aluminum handles or the benchmade bugout. I need a new edc. Please help me with my decision.

Sigh.

At the risk of having the entire forum come crashing down on my head, I am going to say first of all, that Spyderco knives make me nervous, because of the very thin, pointy tips they have.

However. Since the Paramilitary is on your list, it's going to be the winner. Better ergonomics than either of the Benchmade choices, and lighter than the Cold Steel, with better quality control.

So, I'm going to have to reluctantly agree with about 60% of the other people who post, and recommend the PM2.

1. 940-2 if it's the G10 handle. I'm not a fan of metal handled knives. I love the blade shape and Axis lock.

Welcome Harrison. What duties will you require the knife to perform? Light or heavy duty?
