thinking of getting a new spydie this summer because now i have a tenacious and a D4, and im really looking forward to getting an upgrade. what would you guys recommend me get for edc? I really like the Para Military. Also the UKPK. If you like the P millie which version the D2 green g-10 or s 30v.

I have both the Para (in D2 and s30V) and the UKPK. I do not like how the stock clip of the Para fits into my pocket. It leaves too much of the knife exposed above the pocket for carry in my office. I am sending the S30V to STR for a new low rider clip and hopefully it will correct the "problem".

I really like carrying the UKPK. Low riding, flat ground, light weight knife with tip up carry .
When I am not carrying my Sebenza that is the knife that usually finds it way into my pocket.

Hope it helps,
STICF

I have quite a few knives.....my paramilitary is by far the most used and the most carried. It is a fantastic knife, you won't regret it

However, I never used the stock clip. I immediately sent mine in to STR and had a custom lowrider installed for 30 bucks

I own a bunch of Spyderco knives, but if I was limited to just one for normal EDC use, my hands down favorite would be the Sage. I like the texture of the carbon fiber on the Sage much better than the smooth CF finish on the more expensive ZDP-189 Caly 3.

i love to carry my tenacious i beat the crap out of it and it comes back for more. They are cheap so you dont worry about ruining them.

Imho the best Spyderco EDC is the Caly3 VG-10/G-10... it gives the best bang for the buck ! Ergonomics are outstanding, full flat grind, secure backlock, low weight, clip allows very deep pocket carry, excellent choice of materials for blade and handle, just the right size,... I could go on...

I would go with the Para, my favorite Spyderco. I like the S30v blade better, but the green handles of the D2 are really nice as well. Either way you won't regret getting a para!

+1 on the Sage

Best bang for the buck.

I have the D2 Para and it's very, very nice knife, but for me this is not an EDC.

It has become my work knife, I don't even take it home with me anymore, it just stays at work.

I think you might want to check out the Police 3! Nice knife for its size! Good Luck! Kevin :D
