looking for a nice cheap coin knife

I've never heard the term "coin knife". But I'm still learning. Could you define what a coin knife is?

Same here. New one to me. I have heard " penny knives" used for inexpensive knives like Opinels and higonokamis etc....

Try the site named after that big river in South America.
I think Colt and Rough Rider make them.

Ha, that was funny. Is wnd anything like The Onion? Pretty sure no one would keep referring to a toy knife with a tiny 1/2" blade and a nail file as a Weapon. Unless they were trying to be funny. Not even a bone headed journalist.

This is a tough one, that Mantis is probably the best one made now at that price point. They were never really popular in the U.S., the major makers of them have always been the French, with the English dipping their toes in mainly during WWII. The only U.S. manufacturer I can remember from back in the day making them was Colonial.

Ok, after a little search, found a pic of this knife. Mantis made in China, and showing an msrp of $80. Not sure it intrigues me enough to pay that for one.

Also when searching, used terms such as round, ring, as well as coin knife. Ran into these. They say it's good for cutting twine. But I'm thinking more....Cat Woman type set up. ;)

Woe, looks like mantis has a fetish with round neck/keychain knives. This one is listed at $200
