Looking for a nice quality 3" framelock edc

Hey all, I recently came across the Quartermaster QSE-5tt and was really tempted to pull the trigger on it but then I read about the controversy surrounding it and QM and Warren Thomas and all that mess, so I passed. Now please understand I DO NOT want to talk about that at all so please don't bring it up, it was covered very well in another thread so no need to get into it. However I now want another 3" framelock because I don't have many knives in that size but they are nice for legality in most places. I could have sworn that some other company or maker (not Warren Thomas though) made a knife extremely similar to the QSE-5tt but I can't seem to find it, if anyone knows the knife I'm talking about though please link it or pm me because now I want one :P

My uses are regular edc, price range is anything under $500 but I would prefer closer to $200. Preferably US made but I'm not a stickler as long as the quality is there, titanium handles are a big plus, flippers are cool but unlikely given the size, tip up carry is a must.

I already know about the small Sebenza, Hinder XM18 3", AG Russell gentlemans folder.

Any other similar options would be cool I know there probably aren't any besides the main ones that always get mentioned but I wanted to check anyways. Thanks guys.

Sent an email with a link because I am not sure we are supposed to post links here.

Thanks man I got the email, I have seen those Kizers and am tempted to give them a try but haven't gotten around to it yet. My only knock on the model you linked me to is that it is only tip-down carry, I should have posted originally that I only carry tip down, I fixed it now. Thanks for the link though, much appreciated.

LionSteel SR-2 is one of the few smaller folders that I've actually kept and carry almost every day.

I've owned multiple small Sebenzas, Doc Shiffer Recon, Brous Silent Soldier Ti, Strider PT, Native5 Fluted and 2013 Forum, ZDP-189 Dragonfly, and many more that have since been sold or traded away.

The SR-2 has stuck around mostly because it such a quality knife and it isn't so expensive that I'm hesitant to use it. I've got the aluminum handled version but there's also the Ti flavored one as well.

There's also the Spyderco Techno, which another personal favorite. Techno is super sturdy yet compact.

Wait for the upcoming Guardian Tactical Mini Helix manual flipper with titanium frame lock, CF and a 3" CPM-154 blade.

The LionSteel SR-2 Titanium is another great choice and you can even get one with Damascus blade.

Three Sisters Forge Beast hasn't been mentioned yet. It checks off all your boxes and I can confirm that it's a really great, stout, 3" Ti framelock folder.

Try to find a Boker CLB Hyper. The Hyper is the PERFECT little-big framelock. Trust me!

Michael Vagnino Mini Velox flipper fits your requirements.

I'm also a big fan of Ray Laconico's Small Jasmine, which is also a titanium frame lock with about a 3" blade.

Superb knives. But good luck trying to find either one . . . let alone for under $500.

I tried out the Acies 2 and was really not a fan. I couldn't get the thumbstud to work for me, and it really chewed up my thumb and thumbnail. Also the lockbar cutout was really uncomfortable to use as well as hold when gripping the knife.

I believe a plain titanium Mini Velox can be ordered directly from Vagnino for exactly $500.00.

The Jasmine may be harder to find, but there happens to be one available for sale on the forums right now, albeit for more than $500.00.
