Looking for a nice quality 3" framelock edc

I believe a plain titanium Mini Velox can be ordered directly from Vagnino for exactly $500.00.
Great knife from an ABS Mastersmith and a bargain at $500. Michael doesn't get a lot of airplay around here, but his Mini Velox is one of my favorite folders.

Wait for the upcoming Guardian Tactical Mini Helix manual flipper with titanium frame lock, CF and a 3" CPM-154 blade.

that guardian tactical manual mini helix sounds awesome. Can you post a link to it? I can't seem to find anything on it and want to look into it

The Mini Helix manual flipper is not out yet. Sue of Guardian Tactical mentioned around the end of October. With stonewashed blade and CF it'll be about $360.

True, although I wouldn't necessarily turn my nose up at the gentleman's frame lock:

Still, for my money, the Sage 2 is REALLY hard to beat in its price range.

Nice - did not realize how close the two designs were!

Spyderco makes a lot in this category, they make a fine knife as well.

best

Thanks for all the great replies guys, saw several options I hadn't heard of before which is exactly what I was hoping for :)

Although on the pricier side, I love my strider SJ75. It fits the hand surprisingly well. Similarly, although uncommon, I'm also very fond of my Mikkel Willumsen snack doc (framelock version of course.) Not the same value as a the sage 2, and at the top of your prefered price range, but they certainly aren't sebenzas :D let us know what you decide.

If you want an all-Ti framelock with a wide, sharp blade in the $300 range, look no further than A.G. Russell's wonderful Acies2. At 3 ounces, it's perfect for pocket-carrying.

As for the Gentleman's Folder, A.G. designed it to be a lower-cost cousin to his Acies2. He even lowered the price, to $125 from its original $150, and sent refunds to those who ordered early.

This is a company deserving of respect and loyalty.

BTW: The Gentleman's Folder makes me wish for an Acies with a flipper.
