I came across a Ontario (or maybe Camilius) USAF issue type of leather sheath with the blued metal sheath backer, you know, for the Pilot Survival Knife. Well, I need to finish installing about half or more of those black domed, 1/4" or 6mm (I think?) single sided rivets, including through the metal backer. Does any of you all know what the correct rivet is (could it be a small semi-tubular one?) And where I could get a few?

They are called double-domed rivets, also available in a single dome design. They are available in steel, brass, and bronze, with the brass version available in a coated black finish. Be sure to use the proper tools to install them. They are cheap, and just putting the term in a search engine will take you to numerous sources.

What is interesting is I used Grok to find this info. I knew what they were, but I decided to see what Grok would do with it. It used a picture of the actual survival knife to measure and tell me what the rivets were. Ara said double-domed, black-coated brass even gave links to who had them. Because of the rules here, I did not post them, but so many places have them that a simple search would do the trick.
