I'm in the process of expanding my knife collection and upgrading my sharpening setup. I've been searching for a retailer with a good selection of fixed blades, folding knives, and quality sharpening equipment like whetstones and guided systems.

I recently came across gritroutdoors that seems to carry a wide range of brands and accessories, but I wanted to check if anyone here has experience with them. Specifically, I'm looking at their selection of Benchmade, Spyderco, and sharpening tools from known manufacturers.

Has anyone ordered knives or sharpening equipment from this retailer? I'd appreciate feedback on their product authenticity, shipping care for edged tools, and overall customer service. Alternatively, if you have other trusted sources for quality knives and maintenance gear, please share!

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Shop around, you can find prices all over the internet.

KME, Lansky, Work Sharp, Spyderco... all make sharpening systems.

Most places have sales all the time or around holidays. Places like BHQ, Knife Joy and even directly from the manufacturer have sales. Get on their mailing list to get offers.

In the 20+ years of buying stuff I really don't need, I have never run across the linked store. Seems like a typical drop shipper with average prices. In short, no thanks. I'd also remove that link as you aren't allowed to link to non-BF supporting vendors.

A.G. Russell has a good selection of knives and sharpening equipment, has been in business for more than 60 years and in my experience has the best warranty and customer service in the industry.
