I am looking for a small gentlemans pocket knie. Something elegant, high qualith, no clip, high end eteel. It will be an everyday carry and be in a suit pocket most of the time. Any advise?

Several people will recommend the CRK Mnandi - which unfortunately has a clip, but I think you can take it off.

My recommendation of knives to check that fit your requirements:
- several Moki designs, esp. those with VG10 steel:

Moki's fit & finish is very very good indeed.

- several Mcustas, such as the MC-74D "Take":

- and a personal favourite: nearly all Klotzli knives do exist in a version without a clip. Check their site for more details. Here is the Walker Sarra:

Or the Wimpff Coral:

Or perhaps go French. Fontenille-Pataud has several splendid designs, including a shorter "gentlemen laguiole", or an open Le Thiers, ortheir recent "U Cumpa":

Or the elegant "Le Français" by Perceval:

In the Italian style, I do recommend the splendid Lion Steel Opera (picture of one with horn handle):

Check out the selection of Maserin pocketknives at AG Russell. Wife bought me a Gentleman's Pen Knife with Mokume Frame, and I just ordered myself a Temperini.
And of course check out some of AG's own brand knives, like the Spire.

Something vintage perhaps? Here's an example of Bruckmann knives, Solingen, Germany. Made before WWII, but common in the secondary markets.

Something more modern, I love the Moki designs of Seki, Japan.

Case makes several Damascus pocketknives, like their Peanut and Swayback Jack. The quality is great and the price won't break you.

Yes, you can.

I've been eying the new A. G. Russell 3" lockback. VG-10 steel, and either carbon fiber, pearl or Chinese quince handles. Looks classy.

Wow, there are some pretty knives in this thread. Makes me wish I was a gentleman so I could carry one.:D

might check out Santa Fe Stoneworks, they do some great inlays for handles, and also do some custom work on spydercos (cricket, police, harpy, dragonfly, kiwi, Delica) and kershaws (leek, chive)

In addition to the others, there's the Benchmade Shoki and a few Al Mar knives.

Benchmade Shoki 480, the regular version is S30V with winewood handles, right now they also have a Carbonfiber/M390 out, that really looks nice, no clip, but comes with a black leather pouch with clip on it, in case you do feel like carrying it that way.

Not a high steels but more than sufficient I would look at Great Eastern Cutlery. I just picked up one of their Conductor patterns and its a true peach.

what you described was idea behind this knife ,
I dont think I will make second , but there is lots of good custom knifes you can find here in "makers for sale" I highly recommend looking there first .
