Looking for a small knife. (Views on Boker subcom?)

In my opinion the best knife out there for it's size is the spyderco ladybug in zdp189 steel. It's only $36.

I like the Subcom. I bought it a while back when I used to spend a good part of my day at an office downtown and wanted something small but capable. I'm happy with mine and prefer it to some other knives in its size range (Spyderco Dragonfly, Kershaw Centofante/Onion, etc.), since the broad handle fits my big paws rather well and the big belly on the blade gives you more cutting edge.

The steel is adequate, nothing spectacular but certainly good enough for a small EDC knife.

After years of use, I've had no problems with mine other than a few rust spots in the humid Argentine summer (happens to me with 99.9% of knives).

Spyderco Co-Pilot was my EDC for years and I've a lot of love for that knife. Bought a Subcom 3-4 years back, great knife, great design, very versatile and holds a good edge. It's also more secure in the hand than the Co-Pilot. Got a Byrd Crow (mentioned above), as well as a lot of other small folders. The Crow's a nice inexpensive knife, I originally bought it as a travelling knife I could leave behind if necessary when I flew back, but I don't consider it on a par with the Subcom or Co-Pilot (or the Boker Plus Trance for that matter).
