I completely forgot who they are. Fixed blades. Larger offerings reminiscent of Busse. Paper/canvas micarta handles. CPM 3V (or was it M4?) only. There was one knife with an approx 3.5" blade and a detente in the handle to accomodate a bow (as in a bow drill). It ran around $300 for the satin versus coated finish. I want to look into them again as bought from them in the past, but changed email addresses since then and thus am unable to reference previous online orders. Can someone remind me who I am thinking of  ?

Bark River and Adventure Sworn come to my head as offering 3V knives for around that price, but I wouldn't equate them to Busse, nor do I believe they have bow drill detent or coated blades...

Thanks, Armadew. Neither of the two. It was a more obscure, yet relatively known (in knife circles at least) manufacturer located in the US.

Damn straight. You just saved me from going back though eight years worth of statements across four credit cards. Thanks, jeepin :)

Eric Fehrman is no longer in the knife game, but you should still be able to find them online somewhere for sale.
