I am looking for a hard plastic container that will hold the AMK "heetsheet" and have about a inch or less of space left over, no bigger. Preferably very un-bulky. I don't know if such a case exist, but I am hoping someone does. Thank you!!!

i would suggest checking out your local walmart or other such store, look in the tupperware area. lots of different sized containers that are watertight and pretty crushproof.

you just might find what you are looking for.

Would probably help to give actual dimensions for those of us who don't know what an 'AMK heetsheet' is.

I do believe he is talking about the ADVENTURE MEDICAL KITS HeatSheet. If i recall they are (when folded) about 3" x 5"

a square pipe tobacco tin (50 grams) holds that sheet nicely, with about a 1/2" to spare......hope that helps.

Yeah thats what I am talking about. I consider my heetsheat to be a important part of my hunting gear and don't want it to get damaged. What tins are you talking about? Thanks

how about a decon container you can find them at all military surlus stores.
Tough plastic construction
Waterproof tight lid
Belt loop
Snap-on clip
Easy to conceal olive drab green
3" wide, 2.25" deep, 4.25" tall

Look at this link. They have many many different size hard plastic cases. I have quite a few of the fly boxes that had the foam in them. Take some lighter fluid and a paper towel, and all the foam and sticky comes right off in seconds. These are very tough and not at all brittle boxes. The hinges are real hinges and not plastic flexing back and forth that will fatigue and break after a few openings and closings.

As you go down and check out DB226, DB216, DB206, or the V-Series Boxes all in this link. You might find what you need.

Heck, you could use an old plastic deodorant case cleaned out good with the push stick removed.
