runger, actually the XM-18 has a .050 halfliner on the non-lock side imbeded into the g-10..also the XM-18 has a third standoff and the standoffs are much bigger.

holst035, the dimensions for the XM-18 is 3 1/2"..with soon to be offered 3" blade AND a 4" blade version...

Awesome knives, Rick. If I wasn't so short on money the XM-18 would be one of the top on my list :)

For some reason the video seems to be down though, I'd love to see it.
 
I KNEW Rick would chime in!! He makes amazing knives!! He is a firefighter, so he knows how to build a tough, tough knife!!

I just checked the video and it seems to be working on my end...it runs automatically when you place your curser over it..its just below the text "can your folder do this"...let me know if it works for you, if not I can email you the short clip.

Rick: Yes, you are right, I DO know about the 3 inch version!! I have had a few things on my mind, as I recently have been diagnosed with having had a stroke. Rick's knivves ARE amazing!! I have a Firetac, and it is rock solid, and wickedly sharp!! Do yourself a favor, and get yourself a Hinderer!! I assure you, you won't be sorry!! I can not say enough wonderful things about Rick and his knives!!
 
Hey Rick, out of curiosity do you do anything with 6k? What would be the upcharge for a blade- with flipper- made of 6k in the XM-18? Thanks!
 
I think I'm going with the XM-18. This knife looks like exactly what I'm looking for. I sent Rick an email placing an order for one. Thanks for the help guys.

SpyderJon, I have worked with 6K in the past with the Firetac model, and sometime in the future I will do a limited run of the XM-18 in 6K. Not sure what the upcharge will be for this model, but for the Firetac it was $100.00 ...

I like Wilkins folders specially the mini Ryback. I have an older mouse he made with a 2 inch S90V blade I like a lot. Hoping to afford the Ryback in the future.
