All depends on approachOriginally posted by fishbulb
I feel that the weight difference is negligible:
Benchmade mini-Griptilian with 2 full liners and 3 inch blade: 2.56 oz.
Spyderco Delica with 0 full liners and 3 inch blade: 1.9 oz.
Total difference = .66 oz.

The difference .66 oz makes 35% of 1.9 oz, so Mini Griptilian is 35% heavier than Delica. Just kidding, of course

However Mini Griptilian has significantly thicker handle than Delica. It is more comfortable to handle at somewhat heavier cutting but Delica is easier and less noticeable to carry.
Anyway both are great knives. I would go with Mini Grip if strength matter is more essential and with Delica if possibly slim and easy to carry package is desired.

Or maybe SPYDERCO Salsa? My Ti one works excellently for me.
