all the recomendations for kershaw and specifically the leek is for good reason. they are great AO knives. You can get most of there models in premium steels for example i have the leek in s30v with g10 scales which is a great knife and the leek with the composite blade of sandvick 13c26 with a cpm d2 cutting edge. superb steel i might add...
My fastest AO in a larger blade is the Shallot. The smoothest is my Ti-bump. In a smaller blade it is a toss up between my Leek and Needs Work. The Scallion is a very close second.
The AO on my ZT 302 is nice and solid - it opens with a nice "thunk", but the AO on my camillus wildfire opens like its light speed and snaps into place like nobodies business!
