Looking for a true temper kelly perfect jersey trades?

Legitimus axes are great. But I wouldn't turn my nose up at a Plumb or a Warren or a Mann, either.

I am sure the Kelly perfect jerseys are all that they are cracked up to be. I like jersey patterns as their pattern makes sense for a woodsman - nice wide bit, good size poll for counter balance, lugs for extra handle contact, and the bevels to throw chips(if u buy that or not).

Actually user performance though in my mind, the Connecticut pattern is ever so slightly better. I think mainly for me that I like 3 lb axe on shorter handle, and a 3 lb jersey is not too common as most are 3.5 to 4 lb overall, but there are 3 lb versions out there. I have a newer council jersey, basically the same one pictured above, and it is a very nice axe which I like a lot. It performs well and is a pleasure to use.

Perhaps the ultimate arrangement is the rockaway pattern then - not as beefy as a jersey, still has nice wide bit, balancing poll, and a good grind on the cheeks(not too thin). My True American rockaway feels really good to hold and use, though I don't use it that much.

Wow I'm rambling. Sorry!!!

Get that jersey if u want it. That's what matters. I'll get one, someday.

Yeah I can't wait to pick up a few more axes then I plan on getting a few adze and other tools. Me and my brothers have always talked about building a cabin. It would be really cool to build one using nothing but vintage tools.
