Looking for a very dressy knife

The knife needs to have at least a 3" blade, that blade needs to be very high polish. Blade steel isn't a factor because I don't plan on cutting much with this knife. Classy looking handle scales either high polish metal or nice wood. No frn but maybe g10. I guess being a dressy knife it should be a slipjoint but it doesnt really matter. Any suggestions?

How about a GEC #73?

The Tidioutes and Northfields are 1095 though.

The Mnandi is my favorite but there's also Spyderco Kiwi, Kopa or Caly3, Burger exk1. How much do you want to spend?

uhh Im gonna set the spending limit at $50 to give you guys something of a challenge

Try the Buck Gent. A bit small, but very classy on the cheap. This was my first locking folder at 11 years old.

The Nemesis Imp is a great little gent's knife that runs around $100 bucks. VG-10 steel, stabilized exotic wood scales, and a very nice fit and finish. The black palm scales are a real eye catcher. (third knife down)

Guys, in a later post the OP set the price limit at $50. Most knives suggested thus far are way above that.

For classic affordable yet dressy slip-joint knives, I recommend you to examine Rough Rider knives. They are remarkably capable for their very low price.
Here is another recommendation within your budget: The Boker Magnum Treasure, a perfectly made modern version of the classic trapper pattern, with an all stainless handle featuring real abalone and mother of pearl inlays:

+1 for the Buck Nobleman (327), its 440A and fits within your price range.

within your price range.

We seem to have different ideas of what is a gentleman's knife. To me, it must be small, simple, and visually attractive. The Buck Gent and Nobleman have come the closest so far.

As Dagon suggested, Rough Rider offers some very pleasing inexpensive knives. Their small lockback with rootwood scales is a beauty to all but close examination. Up close, a knowing eye will some flaws in fit and finish, but a non knife person won't. It's Rough Rider 078 for those who would like to take a look.
