I usually wear a Casio Mudman 3050 GW-9000A when I'm hiking/camping.
Amazon has it for about $92 for the atomic version. The regular battery version is $62.
I's a fairly big watch, but pretty light which makes it ideal for long trips. I've been fishing, mountain biking, kayaking etc with it and after a little cleaning, still looks relatively new. One of the great things about it is that it has raised rubber bumps on the back, so the SS backing doesn't actually touch your skin. Because of the air flow, no build up of sweat or moisture on the back.
