Ka Bar. DOZIER. Under 30 bucks.

This. I'm left handed too and often carry a Ka Bar Dozier.

KA-BAR Dozier: Excellent.
Tuff Lite: Excellent.
Byrd: I had a Cara Cara that was impossible to close without a metal tool of some sort. I used a Meadowlark for 9 months but got tired of taking it apart to clean.
SOG Terminus: 2nd worst flipper action I have ever had.

Many good suggestions here; Dozier above was a great suggestion - as is the Mini Recon 1 (abosultely great knife) ans also the Mini-Voyagers, which is something to sonsider if you're getting a bunch of them.
