Looking for an Ayoob

I'm really interested in a Massad Ayoob folder and haven't seen any up for auction on eBay. I was wondering if anybody wanted to get rid of theirs or could point me in the right direction---thanks.

I sure love the Spyderco Ayoob models I have. There is good rumor that they might be coming out with a Sprint run of them. It has even been talked about on this Forum recently. But you can't go wrong with a Spyderco Ayoob. That truly was a great blade design. JD

Given that there has been a lot of talk here and on the Spyderco site about a reissue of this knife I would consider waiting if I were you. If you find an original for a good price pick it up, but the suggestions from the forumites may make the new one well worth the wait. Unfortunately, that may be a long time. In fact it may never materialize at all. Do you have a Dodo yet? There out there. Take a look around. I've got a Blue SE on the way to go with my Blue PE.

The other side of the coin is do you want to wait for a "maybe" sometime in the future or a sure thing now that will dry up and be even harder to obtain in the future? One could always sell the original if the Sprint ever comes up for air.

Great knife due to an outstanding design. You won't go wrong by grabbing one of these if you can find a nice one.
