Looking for an EDC flashlight

The civictor V1 looks interesting though. A little cheaper and it looks to have good ouput and runtime. It looks like it may not be regulated or at least not as well as the fenix lights. Anyone have a clue what type of anodization they have?

Ryan,

I like the Civitor, too. For the price, it's great -- just as bright as the other Fenix AAx1 lights, decent size, nice form factor. I'm not sure about the anodization but mine seems comparable to the other Fenixes (although I should note I carry mine in its little slip case, which came with the light).

Hi, how come no one suggested the Princeton Tec Blast.. tiny little light that runs on 2 AAA, waterproof and very bright for its size. It's just a little larger than the length of an AAA bat.. i personally prefer the ones that run on AA or AAA bat..

cheaper source of juice and way easier to find should you run out unexpectedly.

one heck of a price as well, less than $10

I'm a dedicated Arc fan. I always have an AAA on my keychain and an LSH - P in my pocket. Haven't seen anything yet that's convinced me to change.

+1 on the Arc, I love it. If you need more light in that same size, there are people over on CPF that are offering mods for them, I just ordered a 2stage mod, it's a 1.5W/25mA. On low it's supposed to go 7 hours to 75% and the high of course goes much quicker.

I've loved my arc-p and I'm excited to get it in both a longer lasting AND brighter package (just not at the same time!)
