Looking For Bears !!!

My wife e-mailed me from work this morning to tell me about this...

It's only about 5 mins from my house by car so I set off to see if I could find any tracks or signs !
Here is the road...

The roads backs onto a park so I figured that's where I'd look !

I have a sheath being made for my Swamp Warden but couldn't wait to take it out so I improvised one for now...

I followed the water heading to where I thought would be a likely spot to find tracks !

I eventually came out onto the mud flats at the inlet, there were plenty of Deer tracks and stuff like this to entice a hungry bear....

Sadly I found no sign of any bears so I decided to follow some other tracks instead.
Firstly I followed some rabbit tracks, I lost them for a while and just when I was ready to give up I spotted the little fella...

I then followed some deer tracks and they led me to this deers rest stop...

A close look reveals the deers fur...

It was then time to break out the flask of tea and take a couple more pics....

Beauty and the Beast !!!

Maisy kept on lookout for those bears while I drank my tea !

With my flask emptied it was time to head on back !!!!

Nice tracking Pit! Of course, if you found bear prints and tracked them, eventually they would have bear feet in them . . .
