Looking for best, lightweight folder

Can anyone make a recommendation for a lightweight, easily carried and pocket concealed? I want something strong, durable, and light- with great locking and opening capabilities.
I have a Cold Steel Gunsite which is nice- but I'd like a better handle.
The Emerson Commander is a great handle, but too heavy of an overall knife for my purposes.
What are some of everyone's favorites?

Thank you for your help!

Welcome to Bladeforums!

Handles are really individual preference/hand shape. I like the Gunsight handle. :) Also, I'm not sure what the best intersection of strong/durable is with light. I'll suggest a range of knives to look at, from lighter weight to heavier duty:

Ka-Bar Dozier hunters
Spyderco Native
Spyderco Endura (or the smaller Delica) -- search from home page to see many variations.

The Benchmade 530 is very thin, very light and has the axis lock. I have several knives that are much more expensive but this is my most carried knife.

What he said.

The Benchmade 530 "weighs" a scant 1.8 ounces and has a 3-1/4 inch blade of 154CM.
Axis Lock, too.

Speaking of Benchmade, check out the Monochrome - inexpensive and lightweight but seriously tough, with great steel and a monolock and all metal construction.

How about a Benchmade 940? Also Kershaw Blur, Kershaw Avalanche, Benchmade Vex, Kershaw G10 handle Leek. I like the Benchmade 940 because it is a lot of blade for the size and handle. GOOD LUCK! Also might look at Blade-Tech Pro Hunter. Kevin:)

I have a Grip in 154 but if you like you can also get it in d2. If you want the one in d2 you can order it from cablelas.

+1 for the endura. Maybe a native might fit your needs as well. These are 2 of my favorites as far as slim and pocketable go. Alot of the spydercos fit the descritption or what you are looking for.

The A.G. Russell Brute is light weight and a smooth opener. The Al Mar ultra lights are pretty light weight and nice also. In fact any all micarta built knife will be light weight, smooth and strong so you could just look around for that.

Some of the all Zytel or FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) folders are also quite similar in smoothness and strength. The $40 plus change Spyderco Native found at quite a few Wal-Marts nation wide are quite good as are some of the Kershaws like the Vapor if you are looking for light weight, quality builds and strength at a bargain price.

The best bargain in a liteweight folder is as near as Wally World. The Birmingham Area stores have it as #60 in their picture display - it's the previously mentioned Spyderco Native with the FRN body - and S30V steel plain blade. Super bargain locally at $39.48 + s/t - and it's made in "Golden, CO USA Earth" (I don't believe I have any other knife heralding 'Earth' as it's home planet...). Scarey sharp, thumb-hole opener, lockback, etc. I am not a W-W fan, but I have a new EDC!
