Looking for best sling for my M4 and Socom II

I'm with Grunt. I've had the urban ERT sling on my last 2 AR set ups and there awesome. Highly versital and customizible. There's a good YouTube video showing how it works and switching from 1pt to 2 pt. You can by an extra set of quick release buckels and use one sling for both weapons. Pretty cool

I really appreciate the help guys. I will be lookng at the suggested slings more this weekend.

Being above average in size I put the Vtac on everything.

Jerry, so is that VTAC larger than the rest? I wear a 52- 54 coat depending on cut.... so I will probably need to let it out more than tighten it up:D

I'll second the 550 cord, while it wouldn't be my first choice. At the very least it could double as cordage for survival purposes, versatility always gets bonus points in my book...... I will add that unless you braid the cord nicely to make it nice and wide, it probably won't be the most comfortable sling around.

Here is a video to make your own. I just made one the other night and it rocks.

Here is the one I made. I used some plastic clips temporarily until the HK clips I ordered come in.

I have a Vickers VCAS. It's awesome, though I got the unpadded version and I'm thinking I'd like to try out the padded version to compare. Check it out.

I third the Urban-Ert. I have a vtac and an Urban-Ert and The U-Ert really stands above. It has a really nice set of low IR hardware and a nice fat seatbelt type of sling material around back. The way it is designed makes it go from a very snug comfortable fit to a loose fit in seconds to over the back or two point as well. And if it ever breaks they are gonna fix it for you. There is choice of hardware an configurations and I prefer the mash clips the best.

I have four Urban ERT slings, they are the best I've found for me, being large guy the quick adjustment really helps. I have a Magpul MS2 also, it's nice but to narrow for a long day packing a rifle.

I use a padded blue force gear Vickers, with a mount-n-slot 2 to 1 point conversion. I have been a firearms instructor for 13 years and tried them all. This is the one I found the most comfortable and user friendly for the average shooter. Very well made and takes a beating.
