Today I've received the Condor Undertaker Bowie Knife. After an hour or a little more or less, I've packed it and I will return it tomorrow. I guess this was the first and the last time that I've bought a Condor knife. This Undertaker Bowie, however well it was thought to be, looks like a prototype. There are two narrow pits/cracks in the steel, a little less then 1mm big, both on the blades left side, looking like as if a grain of steel was pulled out leaving a hole in the blade. The entire blade looks like it was grind with dull, heavily used tools. There are two craks in the handle, one long one at the bottom part, extending from the brass bolt to the end of the tang, yet another one around the bolt close to the hand guard. Further on, there's miscoloration in the handle around each single brass bolt. There's also something definitely wrong with the construction of this knife, when it comes to that part of the knife where the ricasso stops and the blade starts. It's done in a totally wrong, mistaken and senseless way. I just do not understand it. Zero quality control, poorly executed work, sorry to say so. Seems as if the people who manufacture these knife are badly paid, hence lack of enthusiasm, devotion and motivation. I wish they could improve. Once again, I'm sorry if I'm being much to rough, 'cos I definitely don't wanna insult anyone. I might be setting high standards, but then again, there must be a reason behind it. Best regards to everyone.
