looking for bog oak

I've done a google search and sent some emails but have been unable to find any black bog oak. Does any one know of a source?

Not trying to crosspost, but Calvin Bowman on Primal Fires had some "dark oak" for sale or trade. I think it might be a recovered log or some old stock.

Dave, there was a discussion on British Blades awhile back, on this very subject. I was looking for the same info, I just didn't realize that I had saved it in my favorites till I looked yesterday.

I have found that Ixquick is a much more thorough search engine than Google. Give it a try the next time you need to find something out of the ordinary.
