Looking for boot tip knives

Get yourself some ice skates, I think their legal almost everywhere and you won't have to worry about getting dirt in the mechanism. If you opt for a pair of figure skates, they have some nice little spikes on the front that you can use when you're kllin' natzies...

you guys need to grow up. the OP asked a serious question. he needs to be treated with a little respect. btw, while i'm here..... i want one of them knives like Lawrence Olivier had in that movie with Dustin Hoffman. you know, that blade thingy he had up his sleeve. i need one to wear at work, camping , church, social functions...... thanks. :D

Wow! 15 sarcastic remarks and one hint of help. I posted asking for help in locating an item. I realize the laws, I know they were in cerain movies etc. What difference does it make WHY I am looking for them? Perhaps I am a collector of unusual knives used in movies. Or all things related to Patrick Swayze. Or maybe I DO want to use/wear them.
I posted as suggested from someone who actually thought assistance would be provided.
Thanks for all the help.
BTW -checked out BudK - no luck. Thanks for the suggestions anyways. Better than most did.

Ask a silly question, get a ....

I am looking for the boot tips that are small knife blades that attach, either permanently or removable, to the front tip of your boot. I found them about a year ago on-line but didn't order them at the time. Now I can't find them or anything remotely close. They were approximately 2" long and came in either black or silver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks -
Kat

You might consider getting in contact with Cold Steel. Anthony De Longis, the actor/weapons specialist who played the part of the "bad guy with the boot knife" in the movie "Road House," works with Cold Steel and trains with Lynn Thompson. Mr. De Longis may be able to assist you by explaining how the movie prop boot knife was created.;)

I just love it when somebody thinks he can tell everybody else how they need to behave, all the while completely avoiding giving the OP any assistance whatsoever with his question.

Maybe you are hanging around the wrong places if you need boots with blades sticking out the front. You won't get help around here doing things that are illegal. This is a public forum and you never know who is reading this.

This frightens me.

We have a necromancer here. I see you have a shovel already, could I interest you in a backhoe?

All kidding aside, interesting if dead thread. The Bond villain was Rosa Klebb, though most Spectre agents employed the shoe knife. Ah Daniela Bianchi, if only I'd been born 70 years ago.

Read the whole post; sarcasm is hard to translate into text. Also does anyone know where I can get that on knife form Se7en the one that attaches to you're........ Never mind. Crap necro thread. Happy Halloween everybody!!

I can see this with a custom kydex sheath and attachment for a fire steel. Probably an unexplored market here. I don't think it would be easy to open a package of hotdogs though without removing the boot first.
