Hi this is DaQo'tah
okay, this next time I'm going to try my hand at forgeing a 5160 Bowie knife.
I got the idea from reading Ed Fowlers new book Knife Talk II. (page 142)
However I dont really have a good idea what makes the Bowie knife,a Bowie knife. I understand that most Bowie knives have that clip-point thingy. I have never ever tried to make such a point (should be fun right?)
What I think I need to do right now before I fire up my forge, is look at a few photos on the internet of different Bowie blades so that I can draw out my ideas on paper and come up with the ultimate fighting blade.(hey, it could happen)
So, if any of you guys know of a good place to look at a cool Bowie knife, please feel free to post the photo or the addr
