I recently purchased a Buck 110 from what I was told was a custom knife maker based in Texas. It was a resale from that individual on ebay. When I try to close the blade the lock button is hard to puch down and it almost has to be pushed to where the top of the button"Bar" hits the body of the knife. The knife also has stag grips one of which is loose and it looks to be secured by one pin. Can anyone recommend a blade smith to do repairs on this type of knife?

I am not sure what work has been done to this knife but I would send it in for Buck's Forever Warranty just incase the lock problem is a defect. They are very good with this and don't charge much for repairs to non defect related damage either so it is worth a shot! I just sent my 1980 three dot Buck 110 in.

If this is a knife that has been modified for assisted opening, I wouldn't send it to Buck.

Moving this one to Forum: Wanted: Knifemaker / Craftsman / Related Services.
