Welcome to Bladeforums!

I've noticed that there is not one site that is the cheapest period. Figure out what knife you want and start looking at different online dealers. One may have a better price on Spyderco where another may have a better price for Benchmades. It's not very cut and dry. Also, look at who charges the cheapest shipping.

I at the looked at the website you posted. I think you will find New Graham knives cheaper on most brands. Plus I read that blade matrix only carries 30% of listed knives in stock. The rest are shipped from elsewhere as ordered. New Graham will say up front if the knife you want is at their store.
Don't be offended but a moderator will more than likely move this post. It's in the wrong location.

I think you should realize that there is more to an online store than price. Stocking dealers are able to take much better care of you. They may charge a bit more, but that is because they are sitting on a huge investment where some of the other internet jockies are just running a broker service on the website. Often (I don't know about the one you have mentioned) they can't even get the knife they sell you.

Good luck in your search.

I agree with okbohn. Simply going for the absolute cheapest is not a good approach. Absolute cheapest can mean you never get the knife, you get the wrong knife, you get a damaged knife, you wait for months to get the knife, etc. One bad experience and you'll wish you'd gone with a repurtable dealer who may charge only a few dollars more.

That said, do a search here on bladematrix -- I'm sure you'll find some useful information.

Making the cheapest price your main concern can lead to big problems. Look instead for a dealer with good prices and a top reputation for customer service. New Graham is outstanding. Not sure about you, but I am willing to pay more to know that I am going to get the knife I order, and that I will get it in a timely manner.

I don't think this thread was started as spam, and believe that original poster is just looking for the cheapest place to purchase knives.

its not spam-i live in florida-the place is in another state-and i mention it in other posts because it is the only place online i have bought knives -i also had to call the place and thats how i found out they carry a lot of the stuff-i resent uninformed judgements-if you feel you are being pitched to just because you see a name, thats not my fault-its yours...~~~the hankist~~~(again)

Blade HQ has a solid rep and quality Customer Service

For what little it might be worth, I've bought one knife from Blade Matrix and I got a very good impression of them. I wanted a somewhat uncommon knife, I needed to know certain details about it, and the gentleman I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and patient. While I had him on the phone he pulled the knife in question out of stock, took it out of its package, held it in his hand, and answered my questions by examining it closely. He then shipped me that very knife. I could not have asked for better service, and the price on that particular model was very reasonable, too. I will order from them again.

I've bought from BladeMatrix a few times. Out of several knives ordered, only one has been out of stock. It was shipped to me when it came in, and I wasn't charged until it was shipped. I do wish you could check availability before your order, but you can't. Shipping is also very reasonable, even cheaper when you ship through USPS instead of UPS. As far as the cheapest site goes. Some knives will be cheaper on some sites than others. No one site has the best price for every knife.

Blade HQ will give pretty accurate ETA on back orders
Blade HQ will call you !
Blade HQ carries BM/HK

Cant say as a I saw any fantasy toys on their site:jerkit:
:barf:

I order all my knives from knifeworks.com. They ship quickly and the shipping price is reasonable. They have a good selection of knives and lights, too.
