Hi all I been working on a lobster boat and want to get a nice nice to replace the vickies small victorinox knife guys throw out when they dull up. I want it to be a fixed blade and have a full searaded blade. Another plus would be if it float as the wind can be unforgiving

Spyderco make at least two, the fish hunter and the Enuff. They're very well made(I don't think they float thought), but they're expensive, not sure I'd want to bring that kind of hardware on a commercial fishing boat, in fact I'm certain I wouldn't; but they're there.

Spyderco Aqua Salt and the Fish hunter are discontinued. If you can grab one do it. Especially at a discounted price. There wont be anymore.

I have a PE Aqua Salt, looking for a SE good price. Also I have the Fish hunter SE

Mora and H1 Spydercos are mostly all I’ve ever seen on fishing boats.

Most frequently seen on the boats near me are the Dexter-Russell knives. I've used a few myself, pretty inexpensive and grippy when wet.

Spyderco have a lot of good SALT series folders. The stuff made from LC200N will actually hold an edge long enough to get some use out of it, compared to H1. I'd love to have a Spyderco Caribbean, but probably not on a fishing boat, where I'd be worried about losing it.

Morakniv have a cork knife that's more of a clumsy boater knife than something a fisherman would probably want. The Kansbol or Grohmann #3 Boat Knife would be a good blade for a fisherman. If you want upscale stainless and you want to go all in, get yourself a Demko FreeReign in Magnacut steel.

As others have mentioned, maybe bringing a sharpening stone wouldn't be a terrible idea if a knife is going to be used a lot.
