Hey, i was wondering if anyone new of a lace where i could get pieces of Curly Maple for axe handles and knife scales. Ive found some knife scales but mainly need a source for large pieces to make axe shafts. Im looking for pieces that will turn out like the center axe in the link. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the link, I might grab one off there site but i now have another question. Theres is alot lighter than the one in my link. Will i need to stain it or oil it to make the colors "pop" out. Thanks

You will need to stain to get the dark color. I use Chromium Trioxide stain from Dixie gun works. Easy to work with and looks good when done. Use rubber gloves, it is toxic and you don't want it on your skin.
